MCGUIRE AIR FORCE BASE, N.J. - Sitting on the flightline here these C-141B Starlifters
are being retired from the active- duty Air Force inventory on Sept. 16. After
40 years of service and nearly nine million flying hours, the aircraft has a proven
reliability and long-range capability in worldwide airlift for combat support
