WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Maj. Kristin Goodwin speaks with a crew chief
before she and Capt. Jenn Jeffords fly a training sortie in a B-2 Spirit bomber
Oct. 18. Flying the Spirit of Mississippi, they practiced conventional bombing
and refueled with a KC-135 Stratotanker from Altus Air Force Base, Okla. The Airmen
are assigned to the 325th Bomb Squadron here. Major Goodwin has been a B-2 pilot
since May 2002; Captain Jeffords became B-2-certified in August. (U.S. Air Force
