KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Tech. Sgt. Keith Kleinert, a 33rd Rescue Squadron aerial
gunner, waves as his HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter takes off from here Dec. 9 for
a mission to the storm-devastated Philippines. Three HH-60s from the 33rd RQS,
two MC-130 Combat Shadows from the 353rd Special Operations Group and a 909th
Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker launched from here to provide humanitarian
assistance to nearly 170,000 people displaced by Typhoon Nanmadol. (U.S. Air Force
