QUEZON PROVINCE, Philippines - Tech. Sgt. James Karmann surveys the landing zone
before landing at the town of Real during typhoon relief operations here. The
HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter delivered food and supplies to the distribution center.
U.S. Air Force and Marine helicopters have delivered more than 390,000 pounds
of relief goods to the stricken areas. Sergeant Karmann is a helicopter flight
engineer from the 33rd Rescue Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan. (U.S. Air Force
