A family of geese waddle through an unfinished portion of Poplar Island in the Chesapeake Bay. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers has the lead for the massive restoration project, which includes dozens of other Federal and State of Maryland agencies, among them the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
