A P-40 Warhawk and an A-10 Thunderbolt II fly in formation Friday, March 3, 2006,
during the 2006 Heritage Conference at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The
conference involves today's state-of-the-art fighters flying in close formation
with World War II and Korean War vintage fighters. The flight is designed to safely
display the evolution of U.S. Air Force airpower and support Air Force's recruiting
