OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM -- An aircraft commander and crew chief perform a final
inspection of their KC-135 aircraft. The crew flew through the night in order
to refuel two C-17 Globemaster III planes and several escort aircraft supporting
a humanitarian relief mission associated with Operation Enduring Freedom. The
C-17s airdropped 27,000 humanitarian daily rations for refugees in eastern Afghanistan.
